DESCRIPTION:Join Us for the Industry Luncheon 2026!\n\nGet ready to connect\, network\, and be inspired at the annual Industry Luncheon\, hosted in partnership by the Rotary Club of Orangeville\, the Grand Highlands Home Builders' Association\, and the Dufferin Board of Trade.\n\n\n\nMeet our Guest Speaker:\n\nThe Honourable Karen Sorensen\, an Orangeville native\, is an Independent Senator for Alberta (Alberta Rockies)\, serving as co-chair of the Parliamentary Tourism Caucus and sitting on the Standing Committees on Agriculture and Forestry and Indigenous Peoples\, while advocating for tourism\, sustainability\, conservation\, and reconciliation. Prior to her 2021 Senate appointment\, she served three terms as Mayor of Banff and held numerous municipal and regional leadership roles\, contributing to major planning\, environmental\, housing\, transit\, and community initiatives\, and supporting her region through natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic. With a 25-year career in the hotel industry and founder of Catalyst Enterprises Consulting\, Ms. Sorensen has received multiple national honours\, including Jubilee and Coronation Medals and the YWCA Banff Woman of Distinction Award.
