DESCRIPTION:We invite you to join us on Thursday October 9th\, 2025 for the second annual Headwaters Hike to Fight Cancer!  Last year we raised $68\,000 towards breast cancer care at Headwaters Health Care Centre. This year\, the hike has been broadened to support all forms of cancer care!\n\nThe government does not provide the funds required to purchase medical equipment in our hospitals. This means nearly every piece of equipment used to provide cancer care is purchased thanks to donations made by individuals and organizations in our community. \n\nNearly everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer. Together\, we can help make a difference for those within our community. Hike for yourself\, for a family member or friend and help us raise much needed funds to support diagnosing and treating those with cancer who call Headwaters Health Care Centre their home hospital.\n\nFundraise individually\, or as part of a team! Register today\, set a goal and begin collecting pledges   all ages are welcome to participate!\n\nAll participants will receive an event t-shirt\, while supplies last! Pickup will take place at onsite registration. After the hike\, join us inside for hot chocolate and cider\, face painting & cotton candy courtesy of Fun Faces by Mel\, and a delicious lasagna dinner (vegetarian option available.)
