SUMMARY:Hike for Hospice Dufferin and Butterfly Release
DESCRIPTION:Hike for Hospice Dufferin is a national event that is connected to National Palliative Care Week in Canada.\n\nHowever\, we have combined our 13th Annual Hike for Hospice Dufferin with our Butterfly Release and have scheduled it for June 11\, 2023\, to accommodate the two events.\n\n?Registration and fundraising are open to raise much-needed funds and awareness for the clients\, and families of Hospice Dufferin.\n\nParticipants can hike the beautiful Monora Park with either a 1km\, 2km or 5km loop. There is also a modified route for those that are looking for a safe way to hike.  \n\n?Hike for Hospice Dufferin brings people together in our community to support\, comfort\, and reflect while enjoying the beautiful trails of Monora Park. Hiking allows families and friends to spend time together\, and share stories about their loved ones.\n\n?Over the years\, we've had amazing community involvement who have come together to walk and support our organization and the families and clients that we serve.\n\n?Our event also includes our beautiful butterfly release.\n\nButterflies will be released at the event\, however\, if you just want to purchase a butterfly and release it in your own special place\, you can do that as well.\n\nThis is a beautiful way to honour those we love\, and a great way to support the environment and Hospice Dufferin.\n\n\n\nEnjoy a family fun day with music\, children's activities and a BBQ
