DESCRIPTION:Formerly known as 'Dufferin Tourism Trails\,' our restructured training program\, Level Up Dufferin\, is designed to drive impactful change within our community starting with our local businesses! Through this initiative\, we offer training\, online resources\, and a recognition program in key areas such as LGBTQ+ safe space\, social and environmental responsibility\, and business accessibility.\n\nThe Dufferin Biz Hub (a social enterprise of the Dufferin Board of Trade) believes in the power of business to drive positive change in our community. With the transformation of our previous 'Tourism Trails Training' into the enhanced Level Up Dufferin\, we are providing business owners with the tools to align their operations with their values.\n\nAvailable training sessions include:\n\nAccessible Business & LGBTQ+ Safe Space Training\n\nSocially & Environmentally Responsible Business Training\n\nInclusivity Training (D.E.I)\n\n \n\nThe training programs were initially created under the Dufferin Tourism Trails brand\, thanks to a FedDev Tourism Grant. This grant allowed us to develop custom content crafted by post-secondary educators\, industry experts\, and individuals with lived experience.\n\n \n\nJoin us in making a difference. Take the first step toward a better community with Level Up Dufferin.\n\n \n\nWe have a limit of 2 employees per business for attendance to accommodate our seating space of 12 comfortably.
