Description
The Career Education Council (CEC) and the Dufferin Board of Trade (DBOT) have partnered for the second year in a row to create Dream Dufferin + Career Pathways – “Dream Career”. This event combines two successful initiatives: DBOT’s Dream Dufferin Skilled Trades event and CEC’s Career Pathways Dufferin event. Together, these events have a proven track record of inspiring students and introducing them to the most in-demand fields in our area, while showcasing the various pathways to a successful, rewarding, career in our community.
On behalf of CEC and DBOT we invite you to participate in this high-profile annual event as a sponsor and/or an exhibitor. Dream Career exposes local grade 8 & high school students to opportunities for volunteering, cooperative education, post secondary education, and apprenticeships. Exhibitors provide valuable insights and inspire students to start thinking about how their interests and skills can be enriched through local programs as they plan for high school, post-secondary, and beyond.
