Description
Dufferin County is updating its Long-Term Waste Management Strategy (LTWMS)—the plan that guides how our community reduces waste, improves diversion, and plans for future waste services. The first strategy was completed in 2018, and now it’s time to look ahead to the next five years and beyond.
The County is inviting residents, businesses, and community members to share their experiences and ideas by completing a short survey. Your feedback will help shape waste reduction programs, diversion initiatives, and overall service improvements.
Those who complete the survey and provide their email address can enter a draw to win one of ten $25 gift cards to a Dufferin-area retailer or restaurant of their choice.
You can take part in several ways:
-

-
Email wastestrategy@dufferincounty.ca for an electronic copy
-
Or pick up a paper copy at 55 Zina St., Orangeville
The survey is open until Monday, December 8 at 12:00 p.m. (noon).
Dufferin County is also hosting Table Talks—small group discussions designed to gather deeper insights. You can express your interest in participating at the end of the survey. The County is especially welcoming participation from equity-deserving community members, as well as residents and program users from across the region.
If your organization would like the County to speak directly with your team or members—whether at a meeting or one-on-one—they would be happy to connect.
