Vigil in Recognition of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women
On December 6th, 1989, 14 young women were horrifically killed at l’École Polytechnique de Montréal. They died because the man who killed them hated women.
Please join us for a short but impactful, in-person, outdoor candlelight vigil at our Orangeville office on Thursday, December 4th. We will take a moment to remember and acknowledge the women murdered in 1989, and all of the
women lost to gender-based violence.
We will also be recognizing this day online through our social media channels and on our website on December 6th.
Thursday, December 4, 2025 | 5–5:30 p.m.
20 Bredin Parkway, Orangeville
This will be an outdoor event—please dress accordingly.
