Job Description

  • Cleans function rooms before and after meetings and banquets
  • Be able to refresh rooms during client breaks
  • Setting and placing tables, buffet tables, chairs, risers, pens, pads, glassware etc.. per meeting and banquet specifications by client
  • Maintenance of conference rooms
  • Is knowledgeable of and enforces and fire safety laws and regulations
  • Ensures compliance with Conference Services and Catering Operational Standards including procedures for pre-conference, on site conference, and post conference procedures
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Team Player who possess good planning and problem solving and the ability to work with other departments to exceed customer service
  • Previous experience handling weddings, social & corporate facilities
  • Actively participate in training, regional initiatives and meetings as required
  • Must be able to work outside of traditional business hours, evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Report to work on time wearing correct uniform and name badge at all times
  • Maintain high standard of personal appearance and hygiene
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of meeting space capabilities pertaining to health and safety procedures and terminology of meeting room set ups.
• Linguistic skills: excellent written and spoken English
