Digital Marketing Coordinator (Canada Summer Jobs)
Duration: 9 weeks (30 hours/week)
Wage: $18/hour
About the Role
We are seeking a creative and motivated Digital Marketing Coordinator to support our communications and outreach
efforts. Working in person at our office in Mono, under the mentorship of the Communications Manager, you will gain
hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and community engagement while contributing to
meaningful local initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with planning, creating, and scheduling content for social media, newsletters, and the website
• Capture and edit photography and videography for marketing campaigns, programs, and events
• Design basic promotional materials (social media graphics, web banners, etc.)
• Write and post engaging social media and organizational content
• Support website updates (articles, photos, event listings)
• Monitor engagement and help grow audience reach
• Provide on-site support at events, including capturing media
Qualifications
• Interest in marketing, communications, or a related field
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms
• Experience with Canva/Adobe or photo/video editing is an asset
• Organized, creative, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have a reliable vehicle
• Must live in or very close to Dufferin County
Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) Eligibility
Applicants must:
• Be 15–30 years of age at the start of employment
• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person
• Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN)
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Be available for the full 9-week term
